What is #Burpees4Babies

#B4B is a burpee challenge to raise funds to assist transition homes for abandoned babies across South Africa. Each participant raises donations for how many burpees they can achieve in 60 minutes!

How It Works

Register your establishment for the challenge
Participants find themselves sponsors per burpee.
Company or private sponsorships can be collected.
The Challenge is ‘How many burpees can you complete in 60 minutes’.
Challenge date is 14 March 2020
There will be a challenge winner for:
1. Most Burpees in 60 minutes

About Burpees 4 Babies

Each year in South Africa there are at least 3500 reported cases of babies having been abandonded by their birth mothers. These vulnerable little beings would have nowhere to go without the transition homes who take them in and love and care for them until they can be adopted and find their forever homes.

The homes and centres which take these babies in rely soley on private funding and generous donations to keep doing the amazing work they do.

Burpees4Babies is a Burpee Challenge to rasie funds to assist these homes in any way we can. Funds raised go towards buying nappies, formula, food and daily needs for the little ones.

We have partnered with KP Projects, a registered Non Profit Organization (NPO) and Public Benefit Organization (PBO).

KP Projects is a vibrant and dynamic South African NPO. They manage 10 projects across 4 provinces and benefit over 50 000 children and teachers across the country. Their focus areas include Sport, English Literacy, ICT, Mathematics and Early Childhood Development.

Through their dedicated team they operate in historically disadvantaged communities working on projects that create equal opportunities for each person to reach their full potential. For more information on KP Projects check out their website : www.kpprojects.org.za
